Personal Statement
I am very fortunate to have been practicing with Pediatric Associates of Mobile for over 30 years, and over that time I have seen many improvements in the care of children and adolescents. Immunizations have always been a mainstay of pediatric health, and I have personally experienced the introduction of new vaccines resulting in the dramatic decrease in both the number and severity of illnesses seen in children. Vaccine education is discussed with parents at every appropriate well check up visit, as well as child safety, growth and development, anticipatory guidance, and disease prevention.
I enjoy keeping up to date with current pediatric diagnosis and treatment recommendations, and I also enjoy working closely with any pediatric specialists following my patients. Our office has always been dedicated to being available for sick children, including after hours visits and weekend appointments.
I am eagerly looking forward to my office's relationship with USA Health and continuing my long association with my excellent partners. I am from Mobile and was happy to move home in 1990 after college, medical school and residency. My wife Anne and I have been married for over 35 years and we have two children, Kat, born 1989 and Parker, born 1992. When not working, I enjoy walking, reading, playing bridge and spending time with friends and family. I am a member of Dauphin Way United Methodist Church.
