Personal Statement
I was born in Fairhope, Alabama and grew up on the Eastern Shore. I attended high school in Mobile and currently live in midtown Mobile with my wonderful husband, Philip, and our precious baby boy, Bennett. We have two chocolate lab fur babies, one of which we welcomed home the same week as Bennett.
I attended college at Auburn University and received my bachelor’s degree in chemistry. I returned to Mobile to complete medical school from 2014-2018 at the University of South Alabama. Following medical school, I completed my internship and pediatric residency at USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital.
After finishing residency in 2021, I worked as a pediatric hospitalist at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope from July 21-December 22. I knew early on that I would be a pediatrician because my love of children, but also what a great privilege it is to form 18-year relationships with patients and their families. As a new mother, I now have insights and understanding that only parents can have that I am eager to share. I look forward to continuing my career in pediatric medicine at Pediatric Associates of Mobile, USA Health.
During my free time, I love cooking, traveling, fishing, and most of all spending time with my family and friends.
