Personal Statement
I am originally from Birmingham, AL. I am married to my wonderful husband, and we have three beautiful children. I attended Judson College and graduated with a BS degree in Biology/Chemistry. I proceeded onto Medical School at the University of South Alabama and completed my residency with the University of South Alabama. I was selected to be Chief Resident at the University of South Alabama.
I fell in love with caring for babies and children during my pediatric rotation in my 3rd year of medical school.
I joined Pediatric Associates of Mobile in 1998. I have a professional board certification in Pediatrics. My favorite thing about being a pediatrician is getting to know my patients, getting to interact with them and getting to watch them grow up. One thing that I didn’t learn in Medical School, but have learned being in practice, is how to relate to parents of your patients.
During my free time I love reading, spending time with family and friends.
